I made this little pillowas an indicator of my son'smood. I like to embroiderbut I know only one stitchand have little patience fordelicate detail. So I try to think of it more as drawingwith pretty colored string,this helps me.
Here's a great (almost overwhelming) book for your library. I've learned some different stitches but always seem to fall back on the ever-faithful straight stitch.
