Updated WEBSITE

Hello to all & Happy Wednesday. Well we have finally updated our website. It's been too long & it feels good to have a newer representation of the studio up & running. We'll be adding another section this fall I'll post about that when it's ready. Until then Enjoy!

Little Man

Today I'm posting a piece I made for the recent Surtex show. It's a compilation some of my favorite things I enjoy with my little man. Dressing him up, introducing him to new bugs, building long domino tracks, blowing bubbles, listening to him play his tiny guitar (he's even pretty good at air guitar) But HELP we're now working on potty training. He has NO interest.

He knows exactly when he goes & wants to be changed asap but isn't in to informing us to help the process along. OK mom's any helpful tips? How did you help make this big transition?

I wanted to wish all those Dads out there a Happy Fathers Day. An extra thanks & big hug to my wonderful Dad & amazing husband Antonio. Being a Daddy is a BIG important job & I can't think of anything sweeter than seeing it done right!

Bird Chart

Earlier today I came across an older print Liz & I made. This was a fun one that highlighted birds of America. Full of pattern, collage elements, color & text. If I had more time & could hold still I would like to bird watch. I do enjoy hearing the sing on my morning walks- maybe that's enough for now.

Pets

Maybe it's just the warm weather & walks in the park but I'm really wanting a dog. We had dog that we adored who passed away about 2 years ago. We wanted to wait a while because we felt like we wanted to be open to receiving the new dog with a clear heart. (not comparing him to our last dog) We've started looking at the shelter in our area. We have to choose carefully with Luca's allergies so it may take us some time to find the right family fit. That said it's exciting to think about & start the process. Do you have a pet? What's he or she like?

DREAMS...

Some days I dream of running away leaving the deadlines behind to open my own little flower shop. This is not going to happen... (at least anytime soon) but it is a fun escape for me to think about. How about you -What do you daydream about?
