I am so excited to announce that my picture book Over in the Meadow is now available at Barefoot Books. The Barefoot team partnered with Karrot Animation in London to animate my illustrations. I teared up the first time I saw it. The combination of art & Susan Reed's beautiful music was just so perfect! I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did. The book Over in the Meadow is sold with a c-d & we encourage it to be a parent, child sing along. Creating the art for these kind of books is always a long process with lots of challenging myself to dig deeper, push my style farther, to try & create pure joy on each spread. I hope you pick up Over in the Meadow & enjoy it with the little ones in your life.

aw, Jill! i'm SO excited for you. the book looks BEAUTIFUL and i am just loving the animation. i bet you were teared up! and seriously--how fun to watch Luca watching it! i'm going to show it to Miss T when she wakes up from her nap. she's going to love it. it's such a sweet song, and it was really fun seeing your art 'come to life'!! weee! big smiles.
