The weather is still cold here but I can imagine the warmer days ahead with a butterfly filled sky. I actually once saw just this!
When I was at R.I.S.D I spent some time in San Miguel De Allende studying printmaking.
(View from the balcony of the home I stayed at.)Mexico is where most of the monarch butterflies migrate to each winter. I was lucky enough to make a trip to Sierra Chincua to see a butterfly sanctuary where million of monarch arrive to hang out in the oyamel trees & escape the cold. These magnificent butterflies fill the ground, sky and trees.
It's something I'll never forget.
