My studio is about 2 blocks from a busy railroad track. Throughout the day we hear the loud whistle of the trains passing by. Luca loves to sit on a near by park bench & count the cars as they roar past. Our house is close to the studio so when we get home the sound is still present. When I was little my parents house was also near a rail line. I often wonder if I could ever call a place home with out the sound of a train nearby. *The art is one of my Oopsy Daisy wall canvases.
I have lots of mismatch chairs around the house & studio. This is an old piece I found in the print achieve based of just that. A combination of painting, stamping, writing & a little collage.
Look at what sprung up when I was browsing print & pattern blog this morning.
Liz's pretty Birds & Branches pattern. She designed this a while ago & Antonio sold it to Prestigious Textiles at the Heimtextil show two years ago! The pattern looks really pretty & it's great to know this art is now being sold as fabric & wall paper. Exciting!
My Oopsy Daisy Airport Peel & Place wall decals were featured in the February issue of Scholastic magazine. Fun to see! The decals include planes, helicopter, clouds, ground control & even a baggage cart.
