I made this print for my friends birthday. These are a few of her favorite things. Lucky for me they're all fun shapes that work well together.  A eclectic hodgepodge with some blasts from the past!

Prince

Gone WAY to fast.  He was magic!  

Spent my freshman year of art school drawing late into the night listening to Prince, The Hits. I know every word by heart & somehow that means a little more to me now.

Pen & Paint

Surtex is around the corner.  I'm having fun experimenting with some older looks.

Round & Round

This time of year always feels like a whirlwind with lots of new art & preparation for the Surtex show in mid May.  Did you know it will be my 13th year exhibiting? (this time with an agent JNA) Wow, that makes me feel old!  We've seen lots of things come & go over the years.  Happy to have stuck with what I love.  The ART/ not necessarily the show part-but they seem to go together.  I think of it as finding good homes for the art I make.  It's always interesting to see what happens!

Sweet Tooth!

I'm pretty strict with not having much sugar in the house. You'll rarely find candy around here.  That said, I guess I satisfy my sweet tooth by illustrating a variety of sugary concoctions! About once a year something like this comes out from me.
