Spring pastels

I love seeing the pastel pops of color starting to appear!

So many pretty surprise up in the branches and sprouting from the ground.

Hope, warmth, sun, sigh...

A handful of sunshine to carry close to your heart this week.  Seeing all the effects and visuals of war is heartbreaking.  I can only imagine what it must be like to be living in it.  Trying to do what I can in my everyday life to counter balance the darkness.

Something Springy

A mixed media bird piece inspired by the robins I see hoping around my yard in the early morning.

A hopeful sign of spring for sure!

Spring forward

Great news–the sun called and she has agreed to stick around a little longer each day! 🌞

Planes and other Flying Machines

Last week a new Hello, World! title flew onto the shelves.  Planes and other Flying Machines is an exploration of different devices you’ll find in the sky.  From hot air balloons, sea planes, hang gliders, drones to rockets– there’s a lot of flying machines.  It’s my hope that this book inspires budding travelers and engineers.  Did you know the Wright brothers designed a wooden plane they successfully flew on December 17, 1903? (Making them first in flight!)

Something to remember

Especially when parts of the world are in peril and situations feel bigger than you could imagine.
