Friendship Goals

A little painting from my mini sketchbook inspired by one of my favorite things

to make as a kid- friendship bracelets & pins.  I'd very carefully created my color combos until it felt just right.  Sometimes even adding metallic thread. (which I treasured)  I might have to give it try again.

Seems like a nice activity to do on a warm summer day, poolside perhaps.

Happy Earth Day

So happy to call this beautiful planet home!  I'm celebrating Earth Day by planting some of my favorite hearty herbs.  Still a little too chilly here to plant all those colorful flowers I've had my eye on.

Someone I love- A LOT had one of those big milestone birthdays yesterday.

He lacked enthusiasm but we still wanted to celebrate.

Unlike this illustration we didn't fill the sky with balloons.  Instead we went to the arcade!

Monkey Business

Busy working on some fun new boys art for the upcoming Surtex show.

As a mother to a son I quickly realized how saturated the market was with lovely designs for girls.  Not nearly as many for boys.  With a focus on this niche,  I'm rounding out my current collection.
