Today's post is a response to "Amy C" question about what would go with the Train bedding I did for Land of Nod. The piece above is produced and sold by Oopsy Daisy. I think it would go nicely with the bedding.
Hello.... In honor of Easter I thought I'd try a decorative Egg Wrap give away. Just click to down load, print, cut out, wrap around your nicely dyed egg, tape & enjoy. They were super fun to make I hope the add a little bit off Easter cheer to your basket.
Moving on.... I made Luca a Super Bunny for his basket & for his little friend Dominique a chick sidekick. Turned out pretty cute! Happy Easter!
I can't believe Easter is this Sunday. We're taking Luca to an egg hunt on Sunday. He's allergic to milk, eggs & corn (so that means corn syrup too- which is blessing in disguise) He'll hunt for his treasures hidden in pastel plastic eggs & then I'll have to give them away. In preparation for this I've put together a great basket full of bath tub crayons, a Chinese yo-yo, sidewalk chalk, a mechanical bug, a felt bunny I'm making, and some dried cherries & blueberries. If that doesn't work, there's a pony ride & sing along that's after the big hunt so I think we are covered. Any other suggestions for healthy Easter treats?
We have a tiny bird's nest in one of our trees. I can see the momma bird busy at work flying back and forth with her additions. I'd like to get up close to admire it up close but being a momma myself now I'll give her here space. This gave me the inspiration for todays post. I had done this art (which was sold to Hallmark) about a year ago. I'm showing just a few of the squares but you get the idea.
A dear friend of mine just celebrated a big Birthday. (she's like the sister I never had- I was the oldest with 3 brothers) We were lucky enough to have her stay with us for 3 days of celebrating. Around that time I came up with this print inspired by her big day. I still owe her a painting which will happen... We've just been so busy (which is fantastic) She has a great blog filled with some of her clever crafty work, her wonderful thrift finds & her sweet dog Jack often decked out in something....
