Painted Alphabet

Singing the ABC's has become a standard part of our day.  Luca loves songs & can make up to C then hums along the rest of the song with us. (chiming back in at Now I know my A, B, C's...)  I recently painted the alphabet & was happy with how it turned out.  I like the moody ground color with the pops of bright color.  I think it would be a fantastic rug.  

Bright Lights BIG c i t y....

I love architecture but will I admit I really don't know much about it.  When I met Antonio & found out he was an architect I was intrigued.  (and excited as I'm shy & this was a good topic)  I love the shapes, blocks of color, the decorative details, the variety of materials & how when you move around the world the approach to it all changes but yet doesn't.  It's all exciting to me.  I've wanted to do a series of cards each illustrating a different style of architecture.   This brings me to today's post a fun new piece that has more of an urban / we're all in it together feel.  

Japanesse Stationary

Today I wanted to introduce a company that works with my designs to create wonderful stationary. Their name is Otto Trading and they are from Japan. I am very happy with the products that they have created with my art. I will be posting several of the products in the future, Today is "Tea Time" which is the print above and below you will find some of the final products they have created. My favorite spot in the is the Tea manners box. Something so refreshing about such prim and proper manners.

Friendly Reminders

Today's post are some funny little animals with some sweet little sayings or important things to remember (as in the case of the alligator who reminds us to brush our teeth 2 x a day- not a bad idea)

Feliz Cumpleanos

Today is Antonio's Birthday.  He hates a big fuss so I'll say no more.... (although I have got my parents to babysit tonight & we're going out for an evening of surprises)  Keeping with todays theme- Birthday a new piece I thought I'd share.  I think it would be really fun gift- wrap.  Happy Friday!
