My Birthday

I celebrated my birthday last Saturday (July 31st) with friends & family. Antonio made a wonderful dinner straight from the garden & lucky me I got some great presents! The years seem to be going by faster & fast now. I remember my high school years wondering will this EVER be over? Now at 35 I feel like I'm growing, less afraid of the world, open to exploring & learning more - I'm excited about my life, family & career. Not a bad way to feel.

Fall Banners

Today I'm posting 2 of the 8 new banners I just finished for the Print Source show in NYC next week. This is a show for the apparel industry so they'll be looking for Fall prints. I remember attending these shows with my favorite boss Lisa when I worked as a print stylist for baby gap. Funny now I'm making the art. Life seems to go in these curious circles.

Hello & Happy Monday! This week there's a lot to do around here. I'm hard at work on my new picture book & a few other projects. Antonio & I are working on the finishing up all the details for his NY trip next week for the Print Source show. (I'm home with little Luca- so no show for me) There are always a million little details to take care before hand. Liz is off this week on a much deserved vacation- So it's a bit of a three ring circus around here!
