Hello, World! mini books

Here's some exciting news.  The licensing director at Random House Children's Books set up a deal with Chick-fil-A to have some of my books offered with their kids meals starting August 1st.

It went so well that they'll be doing it again next August!  I've heard from friends & family that they're already gone in lots of locations.  I'm grateful for the response & hope that if you didn't get one this round you'll check back next August through late September when there will be more.

I love writing, illustrating, and learning with this series.

 I'm pinching myself over how many

kids will discover Hello, World! with this opportunity.

I'm excited to give you a peek of my latest collection with Windham Fabrics.

Met DREAM a gender neutral baby collection filled with fresh faces & lots of fun!

This is the first time I've made a baby milestone mat.  I was thrilled to have this be

part of the collection.  Seems like babies turn into toddlers before you know it.

This is a nice way to remember each precious month.

(which I know doesn't always feel so precious but, looking back just might)

The late summer sounds of a symphony of cicadas.

They're not subtle which over time has grown on me.

Floated Away

Does anyone else feel like summer just floated away?  I had my busiest summer in years which was great but, didn't allow much time for play.  I'm telling my self Labor Day weekend is less of a goodbye to summer (which I love) & more of a hello to deep, long shadows & golden light.
