For me there is real truth in this quote. With SO much stuff in the world how do you stand apart? Something that is an ongoing struggle giving it 100% each time & keeping it authentic to you. This is a real challenge but such a beautiful balance to strive for.
On a side note... I stumbled upon Parenthood (which came out in 1989) last night. I haven't seen this movie since I became a parent. Totally melted me into a mess of tears. The joy, fear, excitement & unexpected moments that go into having a family. Thank you Steve Martin! (and Ron Howard)
