The good part: *Excited thinking about how it won't get dark until a little after 7 tonight.

One World to Explore

This is a newer piece I made celebrating the world around us.  Different colors, different dress,  scattered throughout various places on the globe. But, when you get down to it we are all very much the same.  Celebrating our unique differences & similarities is an exciting thing. (and a great thing to introduce to our little ones)

Rolling Hills

Today I thought I'd post a spread from a book I illustrated Who's in the Farmyard?
These sheep on patterned rolling hills make me think of spring.  Now that it's March 1st spring
can't be far off!

NEW niece & nephew

February brought me a new niece & nephew!  My sister in law & brother both welcomed new members to the family.  Each live in different states so there's been no in person meeting but lots of pictures.  Today I'm showing the cards I've made for them.  I taped a large page of patterns & painted swatches together. Then cut out each family member. (thinking cut from the same cloth) Such fun to watch our family grow.  Welcome Esme & Parker!
